The Falconian Republic (FCN) has declared itself restored under Emperor Scipio Acropolis, ending a period of silence and launching an audit of Acropolis, Falconia, and all related assets, charters, and alliances. The Flagritz Republic (FLZ) says AFT attacks in Tramoss have put it at war with the AFT; it reports about 60 AFT ships destroyed for 20 FLZ losses in the Corewards Periphery, plus an AFT strike on a Halo Periphery platform that remains under FLZ control. The FLZ has also formed a mutual defence alliance with the FET, so an attack on either is treated as an attack on both.

IMPERIAL DECREE OF RESTORATION

Issued in Acropolis by authority of the Imperial Senate

Let it be known throughout Acropolis and beyond that the days of silence are ended.

For too long, the Republic of Falconia stood without a living voice. Its institutions were silent, its holdings undefended, and its system left vulnerable to those who saw absence as opportunity.

At the heart of Acropolis lies Falconia: the most important and symbolic world of the Falconian people.

It is the homeworld.

It gave its name to an entire race.

Yet in the absence of an active government, outside interests moved into Acropolis. Assets were infiltrated, constructed upon, and taken. The system was treated as an unattended frontier.

This shall continue no longer.

By authority of the Imperial Senate, the Republic is restored.

By acclamation of the Senate, the new Emperor shall bear the name:

SCIPIO ACROPOLIS

The Falconian state shall once again assume responsibility for Acropolis, Falconia, and the territories, infrastructure and inheritance of the Republic. With immediate effect a comprehensive audit of Acropolis and the inheritance of the Republic is now under way. All assets, territories, infrastructure, installations, charters and agreements shall be examined.

Furthermore, all existing system charters, friendships, alliances and diplomatic arrangements are placed under review by the Imperial Senate.

Legitimate interests will be considered. Existing relationships will be judged upon their merits.

But the quiet dismemberment of the Falconian inheritance will not be accepted.

The restoration of Acropolis will be undertaken with discipline, purpose and resolve.

The Senate has spoken.

The Emperor has been named.

The audit has begun.

The Republic has returned.

Having been attacked by the AFT in Tramoss the Flagritz republic now considers a state of war with the AFT to be relevant and necessary. Republic shipping has been diverted to defend FLZ positions from further AFT attacks. A number of space battles have occourred in the Corewards Periphery with the FLZ destroying some 60 estimated AFT ships with the loss f around 20 FLZ ships. Fighting continues. Elsewhere the AFT have attacked a Flagritz platform under construction in the Halo Periphery which remains under FLZ control. More to follow...
