Kulthean forces struck back against pirates and MRC, destroying a PIR boarding ship in Daggern and capturing three MRC freighters in Brixx, while defending Dryfus from pirate assault.

Meanwhile, Pirate Casio scored a major victory in the Teller system, successfully boarding and capturing two 300 Heavy Hull FEL warships — the Pride of Bannockburn and Pride of Angara — in a single daring raid. Significant prisoners were taken as the pirates withdrew with their prizes.

Re: Recent Naval Actions

The Kulthean navy has engaged various PIR and MRC forces in the last couple weeks.

The 9th Pursuit Cluster with permission of the DNA engaged a PIR Ground party on Dryfus in the Fortoon system that was assaulting facilities on the surface of the planet. With the assistance of the GTT and the FEL, the pirates were destroyed. The 9th stayed in orbit of the planet as a high guard and shortly after several PIR ships entered orbit attempting to capture ships there. An interceptor attached to the 9th managed to pin one of the PIR ships and along with the FEL forces in orbit managed to damage the PIR ship before the ship fled.

Shortly after, Kulthean intelligence located a x8 Javelin-R class PIR boarding ship in Daggern and the 19th Battle Cluster as well as 18th Striker Trinary were sent to intercept the ship. The Kulthean ships managed to catch the PIR and destroy it in open space.

Several MRC flagged freighters with designations that are seen wandering around Yank were spotted in the Brixx system. Kulthean ships intercepted and captured all three MRC flagged ships that were spotted in the system, resulting in the capture of the Cunning Leprechaun (95478), Greedy Kobold (63421), and Greedy Kobold (70072).

Kulthean forces will continue to engage criminals in known space to keep shipping lanes as safe as possible."

PIR SHIP Hardtack (61529) hit second. One ship stolen, less incoming fire. Clamping on near engines of FEL Pride of Angara (47951) - {300 Heavy Hulls} naplian marines swarmed into the 200 human marines defending the ship. Frenzied fighting the naplians too 78% control. Bridge secure, naplain pirates retreated. 168 naplian marines lost.

PIR SHIP Naplian Pirates (52794) hit last. Incoming fire hit. Clamping on near living quarters of FEL Pride of Angara (47951) - {300 Heavy Hulls} naplian marines swarmed into the 150 human marines defending the ship. Frenzied fighting the naplians took 91% control. Bridge fell and ship lost to the pirates. 59 naplian marines lost. 72 human prisoners and 1 officer taken, Wild Pig Miller (#93429) {GTT Prisoner}

Damaged yet fully operational all three pirate ships unclamped and moved out of system. The two 300 Heavy Hulls stolen run by naplian marines followed. Casio grinned.
